MP3 files are now available almost anywhere on the 'Net.
They are the most widely used music files because they can be quite small in comparison to WAV files which are the files used on most commercial CDs.
There are also plenty of MP3 players now widely available in most shops.
However, many people own CD players which will not play these MP3 files.
